She is an artist, writer and a graphic designer, and has been freelancing since 1995. She illustrates using mixed media -- both traditional (acrylic, watercolor, ink) and digital.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSara graduated from University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, but studied studio art through Hamline University in St. Paul, and in Florence, Italy. She furthered her illustration studies taking classes from the Altelier Lack and MCAD, in Minneapolis, and online. You can find many of her children's paintings hanging in both Minneapolis' and St. Paul's Children's Hospitals \u0026amp; Clinics of Minnesota. Sara was an art teacher to young children at The Art Academy in St. Paul and The Coyle Art Studio in Excelsior, MN, from 1996-2001. She is a member of SCBWI.
